Little Nellie - RC Autogyro - World's First 007 Themed Foamie! with Wallis Pilot.

Designed from ground up for Radio Control, for calm weather Park flying or Indoor flying. This is the World's First RC Autogyro in the Little Nelly theme, as described.
Previously there have been various attempts at RC Autogyros in the same theme, but not very successful since they were too heavy for their period or lacked realism and ease of control.
This model has been flown with 2 teetering and semi rigid 2 and 3 bladed rotor heads.
These RC Autogyros are of Direct Control, meaning the servos control the tilting of the rotor head directly, to steer the aircraft, just like the real ones operate. There is no autopilot electronics whatsoever to assist in the stability of the model aircraft, just good design, based on real autogyro theory, careful assembly and proper balancing.
Inspired by the Bensen, original autogyro and the vintage James Bond 007 movie "You Only Live Twice" where James Bond flies a small autogyro. Actually the pilot that flew and doubled up for James Bond was Royal Air Force Commander Ken Wallis, made famous by his real autogyro developments and his piloting of Little Nellie in the movie.
I have not been fortunate to visit commander Wallis museum, nor have I established dialog with him, so my designs in the "Wallis and Little Nellie Theme" are strictly done from photos found on the internet, for my personal enjoyment and people viewing my videos.
